The metro missed out on the damaging storms the past 24 hours. A tornado touched down in Gilman (near St. Cloud) doing damage to vehicles, trees, and powerlines. Some structures also took some damage in and around the area. Storm chaser Chad Cowen from LiveStormsMedia.com got awful close to this twister. The storm moves north-northeast and Chad continues to get a good vantage point as it moves away. At the initial touchdown, you can see horizontal vorticies in the footage.
