The monthly average temperature has so far been trending 5 degrees warmer than average. A warm, southerly breeze this week will keep temperatures above normal and we will likely finish September 2015 ~10 degrees warmer than normal. That's quite rare.
Minnesota Rainfall: While conditions remain rather dry this week, thundershowers should develop Wednesday-Thursday but will likely be more isolated in nature leaving most areas dry. The metro trails will likely received 0.25" or less of rain this week...just enough to settle the dust.
Sun Twisters: Our sun has been known to get a few tornadoes every once in a while. A tornado formed on the surface of the sun back in 2011 that was 5 times the size of Earth! And now the latest twister observed September 1-3 lasted for 40 hours!
Summer brings warm afternoons perfect for biking, but the summer heat and humidity can also spark thunderstorms and severe weather. Be prepared for any type of adverse weather headed your way with Aeris Pulse.
