Butterfly Radar: Something odd showed up on the St. Louis radar recently. Blobs of reflectivity took on an odd shape, unlike any rain or snow. What was captured by radar that day was actually a migration of Monarch butterflies! This is a phenomenon that is often observed by meteorologists.
