Twin Cities Snowfall: Heavy snow Tuesday morning will taper throughout the afternoon. Metro locations will likely pick up 2-3 inches of new snow with higher amounts north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
High Winds: Commuters by bike will face strong winds sustained at 20 mph gusting to 45 mph at times Tuesday. Winds of this caliber will reduce visibility and drift the snow creating blizzard conditions over roads and bike paths.
Dangerous Cold: Once the snow passes, below zero wind chills settle in for the middle of the week. The cold will be brief, however, as temps rise above freezing this weekend. Could this be the start of the spring thaw in Minnesota?
Summer brings warm afternoons perfect for biking, but the summer heat and humidity can also spark thunderstorms and severe weather. Be prepared for any type of adverse weather headed your way with Aeris Pulse.
